Open the Gates Thrift Store is not just a thrift store, but a community brought together by God to shine His light to the world. Donating is fast, convenient, and comes with a high level of satisfaction. We love overruns, last season’s styles, whole house renovations, and estates. Donating is a great way to strengthen the families in our community while passing on your excess. Tax receipts are available.

Sales proceeds of items brought by individuals, families, and businesses support our ministries. Everyone and everything needs a second chance—even your stuff.

A great rule of thumb is to ask, “Would I give this to my best friend?” This quickly rules out broken or soiled items, as well as those subject to a recall, ban, or which fail to meet current safety standards. Disposing of non-sellable donations actually costs time and money that could better be used to improve the lives of others.

Note: As far as TV and computer donations, we can only accept flat screen monitors.
